Nine Inch Nails comes to Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee on Monday, February 23rd. This stop is a part of their "Peel it Back Tour." On this tour, they're going to be heavily promoting the work that they did for the TRON movie. If you haven't heard, Nine Inch Nails was basically tasked with the full soundtrack for the film starring Jared Leto. Just wanted to throw that out there because it seems like a random fact!
All of this means that you can experience NIN classics mixed into the neon-infused world of TRON in a rock concert that's never going to come back around! This idea of something being "once in a lifetime" gets thrown around a little carelessly these days. However, the term fits this performance like a glove! This performance is going to be THE rock performance of the year, and if you happen to live in Milwaukee, then you're certainly in luck. Nine Inch Nails are hitting the road with a show that's based on the TRON movie! That means that you can expect a ton of neon lights to take over the stage, particularly when the band kicks off the show. It's going to be a ride through their music library and the new material that you won't soon forget.
Very few shows have this aura about them. It's happening a little bit more often with generational rock bands like Nine Inch Nails; it's sadly not necessarily a great problem to have. A lot of the massive or even niche bands of the '80s, '90s, and beyond are no longer on tour regularly. There are a lot of old school rock fans who are screaming from their lawns that they don't make music like they used to. All this to say that if you're one of those, but you're not necessarily a massive NIN fan, you still have to come out to this performance. They just don't make rock like they used to, and this is one of the few chances to see it live as God intended!
Only about 3/4 of the arena's gonna be open! That's the first thing you want to keep in mind. It means that if you're in the stands, you can choose spots that ensure the entire show's happening in front of you. These can be the best seats to take in the full TRON light show. Of course, if you're looking for the rock concert experience, the floor is where you need to be. Shoulder to shoulder with like-minded people taking true rock. What a sight that's gonna be!
